Wall•e & Other Treats

Walle finally came out today! I'm super stoked that I finally got to see it. I think its been almost a year now since I've wanted to see this movie. It was amazing! Just as I expected it. I don't want to spoil anything, but you must all go out and see it. Now. Go. Why are you still reading?!

It was a girls night out with my YWAM friends Karen, Liz, Jen, and Becky. There was a funny moment when I noticed that the guy sitting next to Becky had been to a concert that I once promoted, and when I asked her to nudge him to get his attention, she refused. I then asked Liz if she would get his attention, but she also refused. They thought that I was just trying to get them to nudge some random guy, and totally didn't believe me when I said I knew him. As if I don't know guys! Finally, when Jen had returned from the concession stand, I asked her to nudge him, and after some protest she finally did and I got to say hello. Sheesh, a bunch of hard work just to say hello to someone!

Anyway, here are some pics from the evening. Walle is much bigger in real life than he looks on TV, haha. Enjoy!

Col, in short circuit the robot falls in love with a person doesn't he?

Looks sorta comparable...I plan to go see it this weekend.

I saw alot of underlying things in Wall-e and in short circuit it was more of a different thing. Idk how to explain it. But i'm gonna go blog about it shortly. There were some cool things i saw in it, cool parallels to Christians and well just human's in general. I know you can find that in any movie but in this movie i wasn't really looking for them, they just wicked stood out to me. All my mom had to say was, "that was cute." lol
