In The Beginning...

So I feel like my blog pretty much popped up just like the world did when God called it into existence. I never thought I'd ever have an actual blog! But then I decided to apply for an internship with Sarah Anne Photography and my whole world changed. Seriously, she doesn't even allow me to drink coke and she forces all of her interns to make blogs and do her laundry.

No, no, I'm only joking, mostly. Anyway, this last week has been pretty much an amazing experience. Every aspect in my life has been improving; my body, mind, and spirit have all been fed this week. I've been learning SOOOO much about photography and how Sarah ticks as well as learning to prioritize everything in life. Our daily regime (and we really call it that, we joke with Sarah that she is our little Photography Nazi) consists of waking up at 7am, having quiet time with God, an hour of workout stuff, then we work on photography and business till about 5pm. You'd think our evenings would be free, but no, we have editing that we do until about midnight. However, that entire amount of time is cut up with fun breaks with Sarah's family who I get along with way too well.

We shot a wedding this weekend in downtown Chicago, which was awesome and gorgeous, I'll post a slideshow of that a little later.

In the mean time, we've been doing all sorts of Chicagoan stuff and shooting a TON of pictures, I've probably taken around 4,000 pictures this week which is a bunch for me, but I expect that that number will soon be familiar to me. Cassie, the other intern with me is super amazing at everything that she does! Her photography is gorgeous, and she is the sweetest person. I'm really lucky to be able to intern with her. So with that said, I'm going to include some pictures of the lovely Sarah Anne (visit her blog if you haven't already) and also of Cassie Schott (Cassie's Blog) and maybe a couple other random shots for anyone reading to enjoy!
